I have had a wonderful time with my local lung cancer friends this summer. We went to a comedy club to have Guardian Angel Comedy Evening for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. We raised more than $4,000 that evening. We also had a party at my friend’s house to celebrate our survivorships and, more importantly, our friendships.
This summer is a happy summer, full of laughs and good food.
At Rumor’s Comedy Club for fundraising
My friend organized a fundraising event at the Rumor’s Restaurant & Comedy Club. We had dinner, a comedy performance and unstoppable laughing. In the end, we raised $4,000 for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. This is a great way to raise funds for cancer.
At a Pool party to celebrate us
We had a pool party on a gorgeous afternoon with food, drinks, chat and a lot of laughs. One of my friends has the talent of being a comedian, and we never stop laughing at his jokes.
