I’m a new generation of Chinese, I finished my bachelor’s degree in 1986 and came to Canada obtained my M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. I was a professor, and I loved and devoted to my career. My husband is also a professor, and is Persian. We have three children, two boys and one girl.
I don’t have many friends, but it doesn’t bother me. I talked a lot in my lectures and with my graduate students, but as soon as it was over, I preferred quiet and alone time for myself. However, when I am with my family, I am always the goofy and talkative one. I noticed that being a cancer advocate, at least planning to be, I must overcome my shyness in public and become more outgoing.
